Hello everyone! My name is Angel Moreno and currently a second year Biological Sciences Major. I am here pleased to share with all of you a little something about myself. I was born in Santa Ana, but raised most of my life in Corona. I am a very social person that likes to meet new people and try new things. In addition, I like staying active which is why I enjoy playing soccer and basketball in the weekends. However, the part of my life for which I am truly grateful for are my family and friends.
My older brother Oscar is someone who I greatly admire and who continues to remain as the most supportive throughout my life. I have gone through many highs and lows in my life, but my brother has always stood by my side. I can always count on him with anything. Whenever I need guidance, he always has the right words to push me through all my hardships. I am proud for everything that he has accomplished in school and overall in his life, and someday I wish I can also make him and my parents proud of everything that I have yet to accomplish in my life.
In this life, I believe that there will be many people that I will meet, but few in which I will get to know. That is the case that has happened with the people that are currently in my life and are able to call friends. My friends mean a lot to me and I care a lot about them as well. They are part of the reason that fuels my motivation everyday and inspire me to reach my dreams. My friends have been faithful and real with me since day one. With some of my friends, I go way back to my elementary school days and with others since orientation day in high school. However, no matter how long I have known them respectively, we have created great memories in which I will savior for the rest of my life. That is the main reason why I am thankful for having them in my life.
