Aliyah Deiz

Hi all! My name is Aliyah, I’m a third year majoring in Educational Sciences. I was born and raised in Port City: Stockton, California. I like rediscovering/discovering music and animals.

This is a picture of family that was taken in August of 2015. We all dressed up to go witness my sister’s boyfriend’s US Air Force commissioning at the State Capitol in Sacramento.

My family has made me such a gentle soul, everyday they remind me how blessed and fortunate I am to have them. They make countless sacrifices for me, and in return they have made so thankful. They also have instilled in me a hustler-mentality. Nothing worth having comes easy, and you’ve got to work for the things you want in life.

Here is a totally awesome shot of my boyfriend, TJ Wallace (He’s the guy in the white serving the dude on the bottom). This picture was taken in 2015 as well at the University of Pacific in Stockton, California. TJ and I have been together since 2011, and since then he has pushed me to become a more proactive person. In the face of so many problems and let-downs, he's helped me create such a positive outlook on life. Helping me realize, it's all about perspective.

He is probably my favorite human in the world, just because whenever we around each other we are dying of laughter.

This is a picture I took in December of 2015, on my flight to Sacramento, California. I was flying back home to be with my family and friends for the holidays.

This picture makes me think about home. No matter how much time I spend away from home, when I come back it reminds why I need to work hard for everyone there. It motivates me to make something of myself. A little side note, I am definitely one of those people who makes sure I get a window seat. There is really something about being up in the clouds that makes me so at peace.
